Pre-clinical Research Associate

Location: Northeast

 

Major responsibilities:

Develop pre-clinical animal study plans for new product development.

Write animal study protocols.

Develop contracts with outside animal facilities.

Supervise and report on animal studies.

Interface with other pre-clinical experts inside the company to leverage knowledge and contract experience.

Participate in cross-functional meetings

Qualifications:

3-5 years experience with medical device pre-clinical feasibility studies including in-vitro and

 

in-vivo studies.

Ability to design plans for pre-clinical studies, including selection of appropriate animal models.

Ability to work with pre-clinical steering committees.

Ability to design and review validation and verification protocols.

Ability to review product release specifications for clinical trials.

Excellent ability to work across functions including marketing, clinical, regulatory and R&D functions.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Team Player able to work well with a variety of colleagues.

Excellent reporting skills and ability to relate well to diverse audiences
